| 内容記述 | スクールカウンセラーの職務内容は、学校コミュニティのニーズに応じて多岐にわたる。個人を対象とした「カウンセリング」はそのひとつであり、慎重に実施されるべきであると同時に、効果的であることも求められている。本研究は、スクールカウンセリングにおける「カウンセリング」が効果的であるために、何が重要であるかを検討することを目的とする。研究方法は、スクールカウンセラーとして学校内で行った4事例を対象とした事例研究法であり、クライエントのニーズをスクールカウンセラーがどのようにアセスメントし、それに応じたかという観点から考察を加えた。その結果、スクールカウンセリングにおいて効果的な「カウンセリング」を行うためには、スクールカウンセラーが潜在的なものも含めたクライエントのニーズをアセスメントできていること、自らの役割を限定せず、クライエントの多様なニーズに柔軟に応じられていること、クライエント個人のニーズを学校コミュニティのニーズの文脈の中で認識できていること、自らの活動の意図を学校コミュニティおよびクライエントのニーズとの関連において学校関係者に説明できることの重要性が示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This research aims to examine what is required for 'counseling' to be effective. The research was based on a case method, with four case studies of school counseling conducted within a school. The study was conducted from the perspective of how the school counselor assessed the needs of the client and whether or not he/she was able to meet these needs. The study found that it was necessary in order to conduct effective counseling, for the school counselor to be able to assess the client's needs (including subconsciousness), and to be able to meet those diverse needs in a flexible manner (without preconceptions or posing limits to his/her own role). The counselor must be able to not only understand the client's individual needs, but rather be able to put these into the context of the school situation. The importance of being able to explain how the school counselor's purpose relates to the school community's needs, in general, and the client's needs, in particular, to the school community has become obvious. | |||||
