| 内容記述 | 《目的》2020年度秋学期の老年看護方法演習での対面とオンデマンドのハイブリッド演習に焦点をあて、演習内容、器材準備や教材作成、感染管理について振り返り、演習の報告と今後の課題、改善点を検討する。 《方法》感染管理を行いながら老年看護方法演習の15回のうち、4回で老年看護技術演習を実施した。4回のうち1回は対面演習で高齢者のフィジカルアセスメントのシミュレーションを学内で実施した。3回はオンデマンド型演習で、自宅で演習するハイブリッド型の演習方法で行った。対面演習では2名1組で看護師役と解説者役を担当し患者の反応は教員が行った。 《結果》演習終了後、2週間以内に履修者の感染の報告はなかった。感染管理に注意しながら学生に学びの場を提供できたことは有意義な取り組みであり、学生に対して教育の機会の保証を行うことができたと考える。 《結論》コロナ禍の中でも感染管理を行いながらハイブリッド演習を行い、感染者を出すことなく演習が実施できた。また感染管理を行いながら、長期的に感染症と共存する新しい教育方法を模索しつづける必要がある。さらに教員のICT活用のスキルの向上とサポートが必須である。 |

| 内容記述 | Objective: This study aimed to review seminar content, equipment preparation, teaching material creation, and infection control measures, with a focus on hybrid face-to-face and on-demand seminars on geriatric nursing methods, in the 2020 fall semester and examine seminar reports, future challenges, and points for improvement. Methods: Of the 15 class periods four seminars on geriatric nursing methods, four class periods were spent on seminars for geriatric nursing skills while implementing infection control measures. One of the four class periods involved a simulation of a physical assessment of an elderly person in an on-campus face-to-face seminar. The remaining three class periods involved a hybrid seminar method where on-demand seminars were accessed at home. In the face-to-face seminars, students formed pairs in which one student played the role of a nurse and the other played the role of a commentator while the teacher simulated the patient’s reactions. Results: There were no reports of infection among the students within two weeks of completing the seminars. Being able to provide students with a learning opportunity while devoting attention to infection control is a meaningful endeavor that we believe also ensured students’ continuous access to education. Conclusions: Even In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we held a hybrid seminar with infection control measures. We were able to implement the seminar curriculum with nobody being infected. In order to coexist with infectious diseases in the long term while conducting infection control, we need to continue exploring new educational methods. It is also necessary to improve and support the ICT utilization skills of teachers. |
