| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to investigate the challenges of social work education programs for indigenous people in Taiwan. In Taiwan, more than one university has begun to accept indigenous people as students and set up courses to train them as social workers. These new courses have emerged due to the criticism of traditional social work practices and education. And social work by indigenous people and the necessity of education for them have been recognized. After the feasibility studies, the courses were constructed in an attempt to create a solution to ths problems. At the same time, it was a result of recognition of the significance of the parties' conducting social work. Exploring such efforts might help as a stopping stone to diversity and the idea of “indigenous knowledge” in Japanese social work education. |
