| 内容記述 | In -home care, support for the person in need of care (the care receiver) is most important, but support for the person giving the care (the caregiver) is also indispensable. To address the problems affecting diverse forms of in-home care, we need to focus on the circumstances and backgrounds of the caregivers who provide the most intimate forms of support to care receivers, offering support appropriate to these individual situations. With regard to forms of support for the issues affecting in-home care, when we turn our attention to the family environments and backgrounds of caregivers, we begin to see that the parties responsible for in-home care include not only the elderly but also family caregivers in their 20s-40s who are raising children of their own, and it is apparent that in an increasing number of cases they need support for both nursing care and childrearing. Thus, this study offers an overview of the present situation of family caregivers simultaneously raising children and providing nursing care (double care) based on previous studies, survey reports, etc., undertaking an examination of appropriate forms of support. |
