 note = {The city of Freiburg is today often referred to as the "German Environmental Capital". The purpose of this paper is to present the advanced environmental policy of the city, emphasizing the waste policy. "The waste management concept" of the city has three main points: avoiding waste, recycling of used materials and the ecological disposal of minimized waste.
