This study aims to investigate the most suitable programming learning tools for beginners lacking prior experience in the IT field. As an example, an attempt was made to learn programming using a communication robot in a virtual space during classes at a liberal arts university. The results suggest that a programming approach, which permits construction solely through the combination of visual components, is suitable for a learning tool.
