The survey was carried out so that the results could be used as basic data to determine appropriate sex education for preteens. Based on the survey findings, three groups were identified: (1) Those who regard sex education as a necessity and agree that the required sex education is best taught in schools by external instructors. (2) Those who consider sex education as a necessity and agree that the content of sex education taught in schools is satisfactory. (3) Those who believe that while sex education is a necessity, it is not being taught properly, and that more external instructors are needed in schools. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: to improve the delivery of sex education, rather than revising the official course, many survey participants desired concrete guidelines, training, and budget for inviting external instructors to schools. Furthermore, to reduce the burden at teaching sites, the quality of course content should be standardized by the national government and/or boards of education.}, pages = {1--12}, title = {小中高の性教育に関する一考察─埼玉県、三重県、熊本県の小中高における性教育実態調査を通して─}, year = {2023} }
