Methods: The participants included 11 third years undergraduate nursing students. The nursing students’ results about psychiatric home nursing practice were divided into three parts: learning to build interpersonal relations by communicating with the mentally ill, learning by observing nurses’ care for the mentally ill, and learning by observing interprofessional collaborations. The recorded material, reports, and contents of the interviews were analyzed after coding; the qualitative inductive research method was used. Results: The nursing students learned those three points. 1. The nurses took care of the mentally ills’ physical and mental health. 2. The nurses focused mentally ill’s strength and power of recovery rather than the problems that they cause and encouraged them to live by themselves. 3. Medical staffs engaged continually to realize what mentally ill wanted to do in the community by themselves with interprofessional collaborations. Conclusions: The students were able to see the nurses fulfilling the needs of the mentally ill, that was the reason to led to their learning outcomes. In the future, using the audiovisual materials will be necessary for nursing students to imagine easily how the mentally ill live in the community and making a recording sheet to grasp the overall picture of care for psychiatric home nursing practice.}, pages = {89--98}, title = {精神科訪問看護実習を行った学生の学習成果と課題}, year = {2023} }
