HOTの受容を促進するための看護は、病棟看護師より訪問看護師が積極的に実践していた。2. HOTを早期に受容するために、病棟看護師は、入院生活を日常生活の延長として意図的に捉えた看護を行う必要がある。3. 病棟看護師は積極的に訪問看護師から情報を得ることが必要である4. HOTの受容を促進する看護を実践するために、病棟看護師と訪問看護師の連携が必要である。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Purpose: This study aims to describe the particulars of nursing in the assist of patients in continuing home oxygen therapy (HOT) by comparing the nursing performed to promote acceptance of HOT by ward nurses and home visiting nurses.\nMethods: Prospective participants were 600 ward nurses and 600 home visiting nurses in charge of patients with respiratory diseases．An anonymous self-rating questionnaire survey was conducted with the nurses who expressed consent to participate.\nResults: Based on the analysis using an independently developed scale to measure specifics of nursing to promote acceptance of HOT, the following three factors were identified: “Management of HOT”, “Incorporation of HOT into daily life”, and “Self-efficacy in performing HOT”. Home visiting nurses had significantly higher scores in “Incorporation of HOT into daily life” and “Self-efficacy in performing HOT” than ward nurses.\nConclusions: 1. Home visiting nurses made more effort to promote acceptance of HOT than ward nurses; 2. Ward nurses need to assume the life during hospitalization as an extension of daily life to promote early acceptance of HOT; 3. Ward nurses need to actively obtain information from home visiting nurses; and 4.
