The analysis method was labeled verbatim records of expert occupational therapists and beginning ones. After that, the data obtained were coded and categorized according to similarities.\nResults: There were 8 common categories and 3 different categories for both occupational therapists. The categories specific to new occupational therapists were 【appeals visually】, 【do not speak words】, and 【collaborate】. The categories specific to skilled occupational therapists were 【prompt action and awareness】, 【put words on emotions】, and【 draw out subjectivity】.\nConclusions: New occupational therapists use words to build relationships and words that direct the client’s thoughts and actions to the occupational therapist’s treatment policy. Skilled occupational therapists understand the client’s needs along with the client’s situation and use words that encourage the
