In addition to these, there have been increasing concerns in recent years because caregivers face the challenge of balancing both eldercare and childcare (referred to as double care). We researched the current state and difficulties of double care that caregivers encounter and examined how to provide necessary support based on interviews with caregivers. We found five categories requiring support within the “difficulties of double care” from the results of the interviews: 1) the burdens of eldercare, 2) the burdens of childcare, 3) relationships within the caregiver’s social network, 4) types of specific support required, and 5) thoughts regarding double care. Thus, the increased burden from the simultaneous responsibility of childcare and eldercare causes the difficulties of double care, suggesting that it is necessary to provide support that meets these needs.}, pages = {11--22}, title = {ダブルケアを担う家族介護者への支援に関する研究}, year = {2020} }
