Each subject completed a questionnaire regarding the efficacy of the curriculum (usefulness to CR) and the career/readiness scale (Life Career Readiness :LCR, Occupational Career Readiness :OCR) (Sakayanagi, 1996)\nResults: Response rate was 71.2%. OCR autonomy and planning were superior in the 4 th grade when compared to the 2 nd and 3 rd grade, but comparisons from other areas were poor. The median CR usefulness value was ≥ 4.0 in most subjects, but no CR usefulness values correlated with all areas of LCR and OCR for any subject.\nConclusions: Because no subject correlated with all areas of LCR and OCR in terms of CR usefulness, it is possible that subjects of the current curriculum are considered unnecessary for career maturation.
