As a result, it was revealed that their consciousness about “details of play,” “preparation of tools,” “attention to safety,” and other items related directly to actual teaching was comparatively high, but their understanding of the details of “core curriculum of the teacher training course,” which is designed to develop the qualifications and abilities required for all students, including “understanding of the aims and details of individual fields” and “understanding of teaching methods and concepts for infants,” tended to be low.
