It focuses on the period 1946–1952, including the time before and after the government’s issuance of Childcare Guidelines. Nature’s role in a childcare system was being considered important until 1950, targeting scientific attitude while concerning children’s closeness to nature. However, after 1951, the emphasis shifted from concerning such closeness to culture cultivation activities. Enrichment programs began to be included for the purpose of naturally finding this tendency. Since then, closeness with nature started to slacken due to the high economic growth in the period.
