In Study1, photographs on Twitter called “Futago corde” were classified to confirm “Futago corde” phenomenon, and arranged its characteristics. In Study2, reasons, experience and evaluation of “Futago -corde” were investigated for female college students. In Study3, Gender difference of the evaluation of “Futago corde”, and the relationship between the experience of “Futago corde” and friendship style were examined. In consideration, characteristics of “Futago corde” were described that same-sex friends supposed to be friends, using the same clothes or decorative items, or the color and pattern difference of the same clothes, to produce a twin-like effect, a fashionable phenomenon prevalent in women.
